Do Backlink Generators Work

I imagine people who spend all of their time concentrating on their online business without promoting it are like shop owners who open a store where it is cheap and just expect people to walk past them and buy stuff! In the real world this does not work and online this does not work. When you launch your site that site is in the same place that they small business was … on a road to no where without some hard work. This is where backlinks come in and more controversially where backlink generators come in too.

For your site to be noticed by the big search engines like Google, yahoo and the like it must have backlinks; one way links from other sites. The more backlinks you have the more the search engines believe it is a site of note and will raise it on its search rankings. Most people with a bit of experience online find this out and move on to the next stage which is frantically trying to get backlinks but many people go about this like that same small business owner, he rolls his sleeves up and starts handing out flyers on the street. While this works it takes a lot of time a commodity he is already short on.

So now you can see where the backlink generators come in to it. A site that can generate backlinks for you is like hiring a small army of people to hand out those flyers for you while you can dedicate more of your time actually making your business better and the cost you pay to get those links working can be made up by the increased business you get.

So this all sounds good but is it as easy as all that? Does the investment pay off and just how good are those backlink generators? The answer lies in the quality of the generator you use, those that use shifty black hat tactics or link farms offer you nothing that search engines like Google will accept because they give low quality links. You need a backlink generator that guarantees high quality links for it to be worthwhile and then you can rest easy and get on with the business of making money!

What is Google PageRank and Why You Should Care About It

If you have a new website and you want people to visit it, then you are probably going to be interested in learning about PageRank. So what is Google PageRank, and why does it matter? Well pretty much, PageRank is what the search site Google uses to determine the quality and popularity of a webpage. Thus, it really is choosing if the site will appear at the top of the search engines results. So if you want your site to come up in search results, then you should care about what PageRank things about your site!

When PageRank first came out, it usually ranked the sites with the highest keyword density at first.
During that period someone with basic seo skills was able to get a website in the top 10 results without to much hassle. People were using that weakness to rank their sites higher. Now that time is over and in order to get in the top 10 results on google you have to work harder and build a lot of back links to keep your head out of the water and generate some google organic traffic from google.

So how does Google PageRank rank your website now? Well, in theory, Google thinks that if a page has a lot of links leading to it, then it must be a pretty important site. Thus, if you have a lot of links out there on other sites leading back to your website, it is going to do wonders for your search engine ranking. In fact, you can think of a link on another site kind of like a vote for your site. So, say website A has a link to website B; then it would be like website A was voting for website B! Of course, it does not just stop there. Sites that have a higher ranking have more weight when voting. Thus, if you are linked to a lot of small, low ranked sites and then another site is just linked to one high ranked site, they could be ranked above you.

What Is SEO

SEO is one of the most effective things you can do online, getting your web site optimized in such a way that the search engines will reward you by basically sending traffic your way. SEO is not really that simple, but the bottom line is, if your page is optimized both on page and off, you generally get higher natural search engine rankings, which leads to traffic for you.

If you’ve spent time online recently, you’ve probably read the term “SEO,” or “Search Engine Optimization. But what does it mean, exactly? “SEO” is a term that is used to describe the process by which traffic to a particular site is increasingly generated by search engines by way of search results. The quality of visitor traffic to a site can be measured by analyzing how often a visitor who uses a specific keyword phrase in a search actually performs what is known as a “conversion action.” That is, how often those visitors make a purchase, download materials, request information, or interact with the site in any other way that indicates interest in the product or service the site offers.

Simply put, SEO is marketing through an understanding of how search algorithms work combined with a knowledge of what human users might search for. The end goal is to create a site that contains words for which people will likely search when looking for information such as that contained on your site.

SEO is an extremely powerful tool online – use SEO wisely!

Free Backlinks - Where To Get Them

Is there such thing as massive free backlinks?

Making first page in Google is the key to more targeted high quality traffic that will ultimately translate in more sales at a lesser cost.

One of the best ways to ensure high Google rank is by getting the higher possible number of backlinks to your website. Some backlinks you can get for free, others you’ll have to pay for.

However, in order for backlinks (free or not) to have a true impact in your Google rank, you must direct a huge number of them to your URL, so getting them by paying or through link exchange could leave you either broke or with a bunch of annoying links in your own site. So, the best way to ensure massive one way links to your website is to get a huge number of free backlinks. Now, where do you find those free backlinks?

Simple: through article and directory submission. By submitting your content and URL to a large number of directories, you can get massive backlinks for your website absolutely free!

A large number of free backlinks will then mean a higher Google rank, but also a large number of directories to submit to. Doing this manually will get you a lot of free bakclinks, but at an unthinkable cost of your time (at 10 minutes per submission, 1500 submissions well, do the math).

Ten Tips for Generating Traffic

I know what you’re thinking, oh great another article about generating traffic to my website. Well it is important for your website to have traffic. It makes absolutely no sense to have the most informative website in the world that no one knows about. This article lists ten low cost ways to generate traffic to your website. Enjoy.

1. Trade links with sites that have high ranking and content similar to yours.

While visitors are important, targeted visitors are really important. If your site is about dogs, it would be silly to trade links with a site that is for people who hate dogs. That would be counterproductive and just does not make sense. No, in order for your link trade to work, it should be with a site that covers the same topic that your website covers.

Affiliate Progams - The Truth

Affiliate programs are a brilliant idea. For the owner of the product, they’re a way of recruiting a veritable army of salespeople to promote your product without having to pay them a dime unless and until they generate a sale. For the affiliate, they’re a great way of earning extra cash from an existing, high-traffic website with virtually zero additional effort.

Only problem is, most affiliates don’t HAVE an existing, high-traffic website and they’re suckered into thinking that it’s a simple matter of signing up for an affiliate program and "driving traffic" to the product owner’s site using a uniquely-coded URL. Well, it IS that simple. And it isn’t.

If you don’t already have your own high-traffic website, how do you think you’re going to drive traffic to the product owner’s site in the hope of generating a sale?

Well, there are a few ways, actually. And all of them are going to cost you either time or money.

First off, you’re going to have to spend money on advertising. How much? Well, consider this. Estimates vary but, roughly, only 2-4% of people who see your ad will actually click on your link. Of that 2-4%, only 1% or so of THEM will go on to buy. In addition, it takes, on average, 7 or 8 exposures to your ad before people will click on it. AND to achieve even these piddly numbers your market must be targeted in the first place. This is, as you can see, nothing but a numbers game. Pure and simple.
